  Ace Coffee + Diner has some of the best coffee I've had in Calgary! The food has always been really good. Our server Seth was outstanding! He made great menu suggestions and made sure we had everything we needed.
  
  Ace would get 5 stars if they cleaned up their menu, which is apparently in the works. Their pricing is a little high so hopefully that will be reflected in the updated menu.

  Ordered the BLT with avocado, and added a side of smashed hash. The coffee to start was terrific, and the meal topped it off. Only downside to the overall sandwich was that the bread was over toasted. Love the fact that almost every booth has an outlet for you to be able to charge your phone while you enjoy your meal. Our server Seth was very friendly and made menu suggestions without us having to ask. Not a fan of the pricing structure on the menu as it's slightly confusing however we were told menu changes are in the work. Overall would highly recommend to any breakfast consumer!

  I went with my 4 year old son. They had a highchair, and a kid's menu, so I thought, great. He got the kid's french toast, I got the eggs Benedict. We shared a bowl of french fries, my son's favorite. I had coffee and my son had a small chocolate milk.
  
  The good: the food was delicious, the environment bright and friendly and the wait staff were polite, prompt and professional. This place knows how to do breakfast.
  
  The bad: two eggs Benedict, with 7 or 8 new potatoes on the side: $15.50. the kid's french toast - a single slice of french toast, with a slice of orange, a blackberry and half a strawberry: $6.75. The bill was over thirty dollars by the time we were done.
  
  The verdict: Good food, good service but wildly overpriced. I'll find a diner elsewhere and make my money go farther. I won't return here.
